Alli Mapes
Alli has taught theatre and visual arts at Cobblestone Arts center for 5 years and has owned her own sewing business, Norrie Belle Stitchery, since 2016. She began sewing as a child but became fascinated with making clothing after her daughter, Eleanor, was born. The constant need to shuffle through clothing as Eleanor outgrew it became overwhelming so she began making clothing that would fit longer. This specialized way of making children's clothing has simplified the closet turn over and allows the costly custom fabric prints to be loved longer.
Alli has a home studio in Walworth, NY where she lives with her husband and daughters, Eleanor and Guinevere. They are currently expecting their third baby girl, Josephine, who is due at the end of September. In addition to her sewing business she also owns a small candy business called Fairly Confectious which focuses on gourmet cotton candy as well as beverage bombs that transform any drink into a beautiful shimmery treat.
Norrie Belle Stitchery is a premium made custom clothing and accessories boutique which specializes in "grow-with-me" style children's clothing. This unique and fun style allows their favorite outfits to grow with them throughout the years. With a simple roll of the cuffs these special outfits are designed to go from a smaller more relaxed fit to a larger and more slim fit.
Every outfit is simply one of a kind and ready to be loved for years to come.
