Cobblestone Arts Center Announces Fall 2026 Season of Inclusive Arts Programming

Grant Support from Statewide Community Regrants Program Fuels Diverse Lineup of Free and Affordable Cultural Events

Cobblestone Arts Center is proud to announce its Fall 2026 Community Arts Enrichment Program, a rich and varied season of performances, theater, and cinema designed to welcome audiences of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. Spanning September through December, this season brings professional artists, community theater, and an all-new free film series to the Cobblestone stage. Multiple free events and affordable ticketed performances ensure that financial barriers never stand between the community and the arts.

This programming is made possible in part with public funds from the Statewide Community Regrants Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature, administered locally by Auburn Public Theater.

Fall 2026 Season Highlights:

• "Living Traditions" Free Friday Lunchtime Series (Sept – Dec): Now in its 11th year, Cobblestone’s lunchtime concerts series feature free 12:30 PM performances open to the public, this year showcasing diverse cultural groups including Borinquen Dance Theatre, the Ogwehonweh Singers & Dancers, and Womba Africa.

• Cinema at Cobblestone: Classic Film Series (Sept & Oct): A brand-new free film series pairing classic cinema screenings (Charade and Night of the Living Dead) with educational discussions led by guest speakers.

• Mainstage Performances & Community Theatre: Ticketed highlights include the immersive audio-visual space journey SonoCosmos with Matt Venuti (Sept 19), a stripped-back acoustic tribute night with Naked 80s (Oct 3), and a high-energy six-show run of Mean Girls The Musical (Nov 13–22) presented by the Cobblestone Community Players.

• Winterfest (December 12): A free community celebration from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM featuring local makers, vendors, and live holiday performances from the Rochester City Ballet, Victor Pops Community Band, and more.
