Rochester Area Community Foundation Celebrates 50 Years with #TakeChargeofChange

This past Saturday, the University of Rochester’s very own a cappella groups The YellowJackets and Vocal Point took the stage at Cobblestone Arts Center to perform sets of pop favorites and holiday selections. The performance, set up through the Rochester Area Community Foundation as part of their Gifts for Good initiative toward giving back to the community. An offering of 100 tickets were available for free, which led to a sold-out show.

“We are thrilled to be considered and included in their Gifts for Good initiative and are forever grateful for the continued support of the Community Foundation throughout the years,” says Sarah Andreacchi, Performing Arts Coordinator at Cobblestone Arts Center. “It is our mission to bring high quality performing arts to the rural community, and we hope to see some new faces in the audience for these talented vocalists.”

Rochester Area Community Foundation has a continued list of offered community events through their website (https://www.racf.org/about/events/gifts-for-good/) that go into early 2023.

Cobblestone Arts Center continues their holiday performance series this Saturday, December 10 with Holiday Voices. Tickets are still available for an evening of holiday favorites sung by the Cobblestone Players.
